Gems add three players to their 2017 roster

Wyatt McKnight – Catcher


Hometown: Sutherlin, Oregon

Southwestern Oregon Community College

Wyatt is a 2014 graduate of Sutherlin high school where he was a four-year letterman for the bulldogs in baseball. After graduating, Wyatt became a part of the Southwestern Oregon baseball team. He is currently a redshirt sophomore with the Lakers. Wyatt is an avid fisherman and enjoys hunting or being outdoors. Wyatt is supported by his parents: Scott and Heather, and his younger brothers, Wryland and Waylon.

Brenden Moore – Catcher


Hometown: Murieta, California

University of Redlands

Brenden is three-year letter winner for head coach Monte Jones at Murieta Valley High School. He played his freshman season at University of Redland, and played in 13 games. Brenden is the son of Keith and Lisa Moore, and gas one older sister, Allison. Brenden plans to major in psychology at the University or Redlands.

Joshua Ashley – Pitcher

Joshua graduated with honors from Westlake High School in Westlake Village, California. He is currently a red-shirt freshman at Santa Barbara City College. Joshua made the summer 2016 PCBL All Star Team while playing for the Northridge Bulls. He is the son of Marjorie and Michael Ashley, and has an older brother, Nicolas. He plans to major in Business Marketing.
